·         Thoroughly clean the cabinets. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets collect food and dirt build-up throughout the year. Since lower cabinets aren't at eye-level, it's not something most home owners notice day to day.  ·         Wash all molding and baseboards in your home. This is another area home owners miss because it's not at eye level. Molding, particularly elaborate molding, collects significant dust.  ·         Wash window curtains and shower curtains . If your curtains can't  be laundered, take them and have them professionally cleaned. Many shower curtains can go straight in the wash.  ·         Wipe off the tops of ceiling fans. Dust loves to settle on top of fan blades.
